Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. high school juniors or seniors during the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 academic school year (students graduating in Spring/Summer 2024 are not eligible), identify as a member of one or more historically underrepresented minority racial or ethnic groups (including Black/African-American, Native American, Latinx-American), demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

The first question explores the meaning of inspiration and how the applicant plans to utilize their platform in their future healthcare career to inspire and uplift others. The second question asks about intentional actions the applicant is currently taking to inspire those around them, with a word limit of up to 500 words as well.

Additionally, applicants are asked to respond to a third question within a word limit of up to 250 words, detailing how they would utilize the scholarship award to propel themselves towards their goals and continue serving as a source of inspiration to others. The completed application must be submitted by Sunday, June 9th, 2024.

This includes the Angels Wings Application form, a High School Transcript showcasing senior grades, GPA, and Class Ranking, along with Two (2) Letters of Recommendation. One recommendation letter may be sourced from a Teacher, Coach, Principal, or Counselor, while the second letter can be provided by an adult known on a personal level, such as someone from Volunteering, a Faith-based Organization, Mentorship, or a Neighbor. Both letters must include contact information for verification purposes. Additionally, applicants are required to respond to specific essay questions, addressing how their Thai background has influenced their personal growth, identifying the individual (outside of their family) who has inspired them the most and explaining why, and finally, discussing their favorite book and the reasons behind their choice. Finally, candidates must furnish Proof of College Acceptance along with their ID Card Number, by submitting a copy of the College Acceptance letter.
