Must provide evaluation form completed (online) by college faculty member and an employment supervisor.

🏆 Award: Up to $5,000

📅 Deadline: 1 Nov 2024

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors of Italian descent from Illinois, with any major or field of study.

Submit: Submit the completed application, proof of enrollment or acceptance, proof of financial need, a photo of yourself, and an essay (500 words max.).

3. Manny and Sylvia Weiner Medical Scholarship

🏆 Award: $7,500

📅 Deadline: 1 Nov 2024

Eligibility: Any student in a pre-med or medical school program from who has financial need and wants to become an M.D. may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: To apply, write about why you want to become a medical doctor, describe any obstacles that have made this more difficult (i.e. financial circumstances), and explain how you hope having experienced those difficulties will contribute to your practice.

4. Track to the Trades

🏆 Award: $50,000 (20 winners, $2,500 each)

📅 Deadline: 4 Nov 2024

Eligibility: Any current trade school student or high school senior who will enroll in trade school after graduation may apply for this scholarship if they’re a legal resident of the United States pursuing plumbing, HVAC, electric, or a closely related field while embodying G.R.I.T. (generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork).

Submit: To apply, write an essay responding to ONE of the four prompts below in 500–750 words.

1. What is the importance of the trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) in modern society?

2. What are your personal goals and aspirations in the trades, and how will this scholarship help you achieve those goals?

3. How have the trades personally impacted your life?

5. John Dowling Odom Welding Scholarship

🏆 Award: $1,000

📅 Deadline: Nov 8th, 2024

Eligibility: Trade school students are eligible to apply if they have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. This scholarship is specifically for students pursuing a future career in welding.

Submit: To apply, write or submit a video about why you are pursuing a career in welding and how this scholarship will help you in achieving your future dreams.

6. Sherman S. Howard Legacy Foundation Scholarship

🏆 Award: $1,000

Eligibility: Any African American, Christian undergraduate student or high school graduate preparing to attend college may apply for this scholarship if they have a GPA of at least 3.0.

🏆 Award: $1,800

Eligibility: Any high school or undergraduate student who’s pursuing the automotive industry may apply for this scholarship.

Submit: To apply, express your creativity through the use of various media such as videos, art, which depicts dui OR write an essay regarding the effects of DUIs and strategies that can be used to prevent them; as well as the correlation of the affects to those that are left behind.

8. 10 Words or Less Scholarship

🏆 Award: $1,000

📅 Deadline: Nov 15

Eligibility: To be eligible for the 10 Words or Less Scholarship a student must:

A) Be between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2024.

B) Be attending a school in the US or Canada in the Fall of 2024.

9. Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award

🏆 Award: Up to $16,000

Eligibility: Open to students worldwide enrolled in a vocational or skills training program, high school equivalency program, or undergraduate degree program, with any major or field of study. Must provide the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents. 15. John Galt Solutions Scholarship

🏆 Award: $10,000

Eligibility: The John Galt Solutions Scholarship is open to passionate and dedicated students pursuing degrees in supply chain management, business forecasting, or related programs. All students enrolled full-time in accredited U.S. or Canadian institutions are encouraged to apply.

16. Rick Levin Memorial Scholarship

🏆 Award: $4,500

📅 Deadline: Nov 30

Eligibility: Any high school senior graduating in 2025 who is in a Special Education program and who has experienced struggle academically or emotionally is encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Submit: In your application essay, please describe how your experience with challenge and difficulty has played a significant role in your life OR who/what in your Special Education program inspired you to pursue higher education and why.

17. Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship

🏆 Award: $1,040

Eligibility: open to students at any educational level and field of study.

Submit: The only application requirement is that students are women who intend to enter a technical or non-technical career that leverages technology to make the world a better place.

18. Education Matters Scholarship

🏆 Award: $5,000

📅 Deadline: Nov 30

Eligibility: High school students, undergraduates, graduate students.

Submit: Submit an online written response to the question: "What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn't matter, or that college is a waste of time and money?" (250 words or less). The Education Matters Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or around Feb 28th.

19. Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship

🏆 Award: $500

📅 Deadline: Nov 30

Eligibility: Open to students at any educational level and field of study. The only application requirement is that students have personally experienced challenges with mental health or have had people close to them who have experienced mental health challenges.

Submit: Students applying to the scholarship will be required to write an essay about how their experience with mental health has influenced their beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. While not required, working or volunteering at organizations that increase mental health awareness, provide mental health support, or research mental health solutions will be a plus on student applications.

20. Bachus & Schanker, LLC Scholarship – Spring Semester

🏆 Award: $2,000

📅 Deadline: Nov 30

Eligibility: Any high school senior accepted to attend a four-year university by the time of the award, or full time student attending a four-year university in the United States who carries a 3.0 cumulative GPA may apply.

Submit: Write an essay of no fewer than 800 words about your opinion on the importance and efficacy of the 7th Amendment and how it affects your life. Consideration for the entirety of the Amendment (rather than the well-known nutshell explanation of the right to trial by jury) is encouraged.
